Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination of five medications: cimetidine (an H2 receptor antagonist), lithium (a mood stabilizer), olanzapine (an atypical antipsychotic), temozolomide (an alkylating agent used in chemotherapy), and valproate (an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer). Olanzapine works by changing the activity of certain natural substances in the brain, particularly dopamine and serotonin. It is commonly used to treat schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. Olanzapine is sometimes used in combination with lithium or valproate for treating manic or mixed episodes in bipolar I disorder.
