Overview

CIN-108 is a small molecule inhibitor targeting defective in cullin neddylation 1 (DCN1), a protein involved in the neddylation pathway that regulates protein degradation. By inhibiting DCN1 from binding in its necessary pocket, CIN-108 disrupts the neddylation process, which interferes with the progression of multiple solid tumors and cancers. DCN1 is an oncogene amplified in various cancer types and correlates with more severe prognosis. The compound was initially developed by Cinsano Pharma and later licensed by CinRx for further optimization and development as an oncology therapeutic[1][2][3].
