Overview

**CIN-209** is an investigational, once-weekly dual incretin/anorectic peptide therapy for **obesity**. Originally developed by Janssen and subsequently licensed to CinFina Pharma, it combines glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonism with growth differentiation factor 15 pathway agonism. GLP-1 receptor activation is intended to reduce appetite and improve metabolic control, while GDF-15 pathway activity is intended to promote satiety through signaling at the hindbrain GFRAL receptor complex. CinFina has described CIN-209 as a first-in-class GLP-1/GDF-15 dual agonist program being advanced in preclinical development toward an investigational new drug application.
