Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CIN-210 is a novel, first-in-class dual agonist peptide drug under development for the treatment of obesity. It consists of a covalently linked glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) analog and a peptide YY3-36 (PYY3-36) analog, designed to combine the appetite-suppressant effects of PYY with the metabolic benefits of GLP-1 receptor activation. The dual mechanism aims to provide synergistic weight loss while allowing for lower dosing and improved tolerability compared to single-agent therapies. The drug is being developed by CinFina Pharma, originally in collaboration with Janssen Sciences Ireland UC[1][2][3][9].
