Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CIN244 is a novel small molecule drug candidate developed by Cincera Therapeutics for the treatment of fibrotic diseases. It acts as an inhibitor of the MRTF/SRF (myocardin-related transcription factor/serum response factor) pathway, which plays a key role in the development and progression of fibrosis. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that CIN244 exhibits antifibrotic activity, particularly in models of liver, lung, and renal fibrosis. The compound is currently at the discovery stage and has not yet entered clinical trials[1][2][3][8].
