Overview

CinnoPar is a biosimilar version of teriparatide, a recombinant human parathyroid hormone (PTH 1-34) analog developed by the Iranian biopharmaceutical company CinnaGen. It consists of the biologically active 34-amino acid N-terminal fragment of natural human parathyroid hormone. CinnoPar acts as an agonist at the parathyroid hormone 1 receptor (PTH1R), stimulating osteoblast activity, increasing bone mineral density, and enhancing bone strength. It is approved and marketed for the treatment of osteoporosis in postmenopausal women and in men at high risk of fractures, as well as for glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis.
