Overview

CinnoRA is a biosimilar formulation of the anti-TNF monoclonal antibody adalimumab, developed by CinnaGen as a subcutaneous autoinjector containing 40 mg adalimumab in 0.8 mL solution. It is a fully human recombinant IgG1 monoclonal antibody that binds tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNFα) with high affinity, preventing its interaction with cell-surface TNF receptors and thereby inhibiting downstream pro‑inflammatory cytokine cascades. As a biosimilar to AbbVie’s originator adalimumab (Humira), CinnoRA is intended for the treatment of chronic immune‑mediated inflammatory diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis and other adalimumab‑approved indications, and has demonstrated non‑inferior efficacy and comparable safety to Humira in phase 3 rheumatoid arthritis trials.
