Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CircFam53B-219aa is a cryptic peptide encoded by circular RNA (CircFAM53B). This peptide is specifically highly expressed in breast cancer tissues and has demonstrated the ability to activate antigen-specific T cell immune responses. In preclinical studies, when CircFAM53B-219aa is loaded into dendritic cells (DC), the resulting vaccine has shown significant inhibition of tumor growth in animal models with high CircFAM53B expression. It is being investigated as a monotherapy and in combination with camrelizumab for the treatment of HER2-negative advanced breast cancer.
