Overview

CIRCOQ is a veterinary subunit vaccine developed by Reber Genetics for the prevention of Porcine Circovirus Type 2 (PCV2) infection in pigs. It utilizes recombinant protein technology to deliver PCV2 antigens, inducing protective immunity against PCV2-associated disease (PCVAD). The vaccine is designed to reduce viral load, mortality, and clinical symptoms while improving productivity in swine populations. It has demonstrated efficacy even in the presence of high maternally derived antibodies and against PCV2 type d strains. CIRCOQ was officially launched in Taiwan in 2019 following the receipt of its manufacturing license.
