Cirkalm

**Cirkalm** is a topical fixed-dose medicinal cream developed and manufactured by Pierre Fabre for local treatment of anal pain. It combines *Ruscus aculeatus* extract, hesperidin methylchalcone, and sodium heparin. The formulation is intended to provide local venotonic, capillary-protective, anti-inflammatory, and anticoagulant effects in anorectal conditions. Pierre Fabre conducted a completed randomized, placebo-controlled Phase IV trial of Cirkalm cream for anal pain between October 2008 and December 2009 under protocol V00132 CR 401 and EudraCT number 2007-006029-29.
