Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cisplatin + gedatolisib is a combination therapy consisting of cisplatin, a platinum-based chemotherapeutic agent, and gedatolisib (PF-05212384), a dual PI3K/mTOR inhibitor. This combination has been studied in clinical trials for the treatment of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) and other advanced solid tumors. The rationale for this combination is that inhibition of PI3K-mediated signaling by gedatolisib may help overcome resistance to chemotherapy agents like cisplatin.
