**Cisplatin micelle injection (HA132)** is a nanomedicine formulation of the chemotherapeutic agent cisplatin encapsulated in polymeric micelles to enhance its pharmacokinetic profile, reduce toxicity, and improve antitumor efficacy. Cisplatin, a platinum-based alkylating-like agent, forms highly reactive, charged platinum complexes that bind to DNA nucleophilic sites, inducing DNA cross-links, impairing replication, and triggering apoptosis in rapidly dividing cancer cells. Developed as a next-generation delivery system leveraging the enhanced permeability and retention effect in tumors, HA132 is under evaluation in phase 1/2 clinical trials for advanced malignant solid tumors, including cohort expansion studies assessing safety, tolerability, and efficacy when administered intravenously every 3 weeks.[1][3][17]
