Citranvi Biosciences is developing a multiantigen protein-based vaccine for the prevention of Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) infection. The vaccine utilizes a proprietary herpesvirus protein multimeric technology platform licensed from the Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF). This platform produces recombinant proteins in a multimeric form to enhance the induction of protective neutralizing antibodies. The vaccine targets multiple EBV envelope proteins, specifically gH/gL, gB, and gp350, which are critical for viral entry into host cells. It is intended to prevent EBV-associated diseases, including infectious mononucleosis and various EBV-associated cancers. The program is currently in preclinical development in collaboration with the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) and the U.S. Department of Defense.
