Overview

CK-636 is a synthetic small molecule inhibitor of the Arp2/3 complex. The Arp2/3 complex is a key actin nucleator that initiates the formation of branched actin filament networks in cells. By inhibiting this complex, CK-636 disrupts actin polymerization and has been widely used as a research tool to study cell motility and cytoskeletal dynamics. It is not approved for clinical use and is primarily utilized in laboratory settings for mechanistic studies of actin-related cellular processes[1][4][5].
