Overview

CK0402 is a sulfur-containing 9-aminoacridine derivative and topoisomerase II inhibitor developed as a potential anticancer agent. It has demonstrated significant in vitro and in vivo antiproliferative activity, particularly against human breast cancer cell lines. CK0402 induces G2/M cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, and autophagy, showing enhanced efficacy in estrogen receptor-negative (ER-) and HER2-overexpressing (HER2+) breast cancer cells (such as SKBR-3). It has also been studied in combination with trastuzumab (Herceptin), showing synergistic cytotoxic effects.
