Overview

CK0802 is an allogeneic, off-the-shelf cell therapy product composed of regulatory T cells (Tregs) derived from clinical-grade umbilical cord blood units. It is administered intravenously and developed using Cellenkos' proprietary CRANE technology. The primary mechanism involves the adoptive transfer of healthy Treg cells to restore immune homeostasis and restrict inflammation-induced tissue damage, particularly in the lungs. CK0802 targets integrin alpha4 (CD49d), acting as a CD49d antagonist and serving as a replacement for dysfunctional or depleted T lymphocytes. Its main indication under investigation has been COVID-19-associated acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), with additional exploration in lung injury and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis[1][3][4][5][7].
