Overview

CKD-4101 is a tablet formulation of mycophenolate mofetil developed by Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical. Mycophenolate mofetil is an immunosuppressive agent that acts as a prodrug of mycophenolic acid, which inhibits inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase, thereby suppressing the proliferation of T and B lymphocytes. CKD-4101 was evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial to compare its pharmacokinetic characteristics and safety profile with those of standard mycophenolate mofetil capsules in healthy volunteers[1][3][6]. The development status for this specific formulation appears to be pending or not actively pursued beyond early-phase studies[1][9].
