Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CKD-951 is an experimental small molecule modulator of the Adenosine receptor A3 (A3AR), currently in the preclinical stage of development by Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical Corp. It is being investigated for the treatment of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), a condition characterized by liver inflammation and damage caused by fat accumulation. By targeting the A3 adenosine receptor, CKD-951 aims to modulate biological pathways involved in hepatic inflammation and fibrosis, which are hallmark features of MASH progression. As of the current reporting, it remains in the early pipeline as a new chemical entity.
