Overview

CL19183 (Theolim) is a proprietary thermogenic botanical composition made from standardized extracts of Citrus aurantifolia fruit rind and Theobroma cacao seeds. It is designed to enhance energy expenditure, increase fat oxidation, and improve body composition. Clinical studies in overweight adults showed statistically significant reductions in body weight, BMI, and body fat after daily oral supplementation. Mechanistically, CL19183 appears to activate multiple metabolic pathways, including AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) activation, β3-adrenergic receptor stimulation, and upregulation of glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1). Additionally, it increases adiponectin, and reduces ghrelin, leading to improved insulin sensitivity, lipid profiles, and resting metabolic rate. No significant adverse events were reported in trials. CL19183 is being explored primarily for weight management and obesity-related conditions such as type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease[1][3].
