Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination chemotherapy regimen consisting of cladribine, cytarabine, and venetoclax. This regimen is primarily used in the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML), particularly in patients who have relapsed or become refractory to standard treatments such as venetoclax plus hypomethylating agents. The combination works through multiple mechanisms to target leukemic cells, with cladribine and cytarabine interfering with DNA synthesis and repair, while venetoclax promotes apoptosis by inhibiting BCL-2. This combination has shown promising efficacy, particularly in difficult-to-treat cases of AML.
