clarithromycin + amoxicillin + ilaprazole

This is a fixed-dose combination therapy consisting of clarithromycin, amoxicillin, and ilaprazole. It is used primarily for the eradication of *Helicobacter pylori* (H. pylori) infection in patients with gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, or gastric cancer. The regimen combines two antibiotics—clarithromycin (a macrolide) and amoxicillin (a penicillin-type beta-lactam)—with ilaprazole, a novel proton pump inhibitor (PPI). Clarithromycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 50S ribosomal subunit; amoxicillin inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis by binding to penicillin-binding proteins; and ilaprazole irreversibly inhibits gastric H+/K+-ATPase in parietal cells to suppress gastric acid secretion. Ilaprazole is notable for its long half-life and minimal influence from CYP2C19 genetic polymorphisms compared to other PPIs[2][6][8]. This triple therapy aims to increase H. pylori eradication rates by combining acid suppression with dual antibiotic action.
