Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**CLB-3000** is an investigational bivalent protein-subunit therapeutic vaccine from ClearB Therapeutics for chronic hepatitis B infection. It contains two proprietary engineered hepatitis B surface antigen variants, CLB-405 and CLB-505, designed to over-represent viral clearance-associated epitopes identified in individuals with functional cure, and is adjuvanted with Alhydrogel. The vaccine is intended to redirect or strengthen HBV-specific immune responses to promote functional cure, including reduction or clearance of hepatitis B surface antigen. CLB-3000 is being evaluated in an open-label Phase 1b study in adults with chronic hepatitis B receiving stable nucleoside or nucleotide analogue therapy.
