Overview

CLB-405 is a recombinant protein component of the bivalent subunit therapeutic vaccine CLB-3000, developed by ClearB Therapeutics for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B. It is designed to display clearance profile-associated epitopes on hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg), identified from anti-HBs responses in patients who achieved functional cure. As part of the vaccine formulation (with CLB-505 and Alhydrogel as adjuvant), it acts as an immunostimulant to elicit immune responses against hepatitis B virus. The primary indication is chronic hepatitis B infection, and it is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials[1][4][5][7].
