Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cleoderm is a functional topical cream vehicle and compounding base developed by Fagron for personalized dermatological treatments. While primarily serving as a pharmaceutical excipient for compounding active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs), it possesses inherent functional properties including the reduction of sebum production, inhibition of *Cutibacterium acnes* proliferation, and anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effects. The formulation is plant-based, featuring *Cleome gynandra* L. leaf extract as a key constituent, alongside hyaluronic acid, palmitoyl tripeptide-8, bisabolol, tocopheryl acetate, and a blend of eight functional oils. It is specifically designed for use in treating inflammatory skin conditions such as acne vulgaris, rosacea, dermatitis, and hyperpigmentation, providing a gentle and effective base for facial applications.
