Overview

CLF065 is a long-acting, fatty acid-stapled glucagon-like peptide-2 (GLP-2) analog developed by Calibr, a division of Scripps Research. It is designed to promote intestinal barrier regeneration and mucosal healing by acting as a potent agonist of the GLP-2 receptor. The drug's unique stapled peptide structure extends its half-life, allowing for a weekly subcutaneous dosing regimen. CLF065 is primarily being investigated for the treatment of chronic pouchitis, a condition characterized by inflammation of the ileal pouch following colorectal surgery, as well as other forms of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).
