Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CLG-001 is an allogeneic mitochondrial transplantation therapy developed by Cellergy Therapeutics. It consists of proprietary bioreactor-grown, intact, and functional mitochondria purified from healthy human primary donors. Delivered via intravenous infusion, the therapy is designed to reach various tissues and organs to restore cellular energy production and bioenergetics by addressing mitochondrial dysfunction. The platform targets a wide range of conditions, including metabolic disorders, neurodegenerative diseases (such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's), and age-related conditions. It is currently advancing toward Phase I clinical trials under the U.S. FDA and compassionate-use frameworks in Israel, with an initial focus on congenital mitochondrial disorders.
