Overview

CLIC-1901 is an investigational, autologous chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T cell therapy targeting CD19. It is developed for the treatment of relapsed or refractory CD19-positive hematologic malignancies, including acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL). The therapy involves collecting a patient’s own T cells, genetically modifying them to express a CAR that recognizes the CD19 antigen on malignant B cells, expanding these modified cells ex vivo, and then infusing them back into the patient. Upon administration, these engineered CAR-T cells bind to and induce selective cytotoxicity against CD19-expressing tumor cells. The product is manufactured fresh (non-cryopreserved), aiming for rapid turnaround from collection to infusion[1][2][3][4].
