Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Clinavit Paediatric is an intravenous multivitamin preparation developed by Baxter for use in parenteral nutrition for neonates and children up to 11 years of age. It is a single-vial combination product containing both fat-soluble vitamins (including vitamins A and E) and water-soluble vitamins (including folate and vitamin B12). The formulation is designed to simplify the administration of essential vitamins to pediatric patients who cannot receive adequate nutrition orally or enterally. In clinical studies, it has been compared to the standard dual-product regimen of Soluvit and Vitalipid Infant to assess its safety and efficacy in maintaining plasma vitamin levels.
