Overview

Clinpro Tooth Creme is a remineralizing dental paste developed by 3M Oral Care, containing 0.21% sodium fluoride (950 ppm fluoride) and a proprietary functionalized tri-calcium phosphate (fTCP). It is indicated for the prevention of dental caries and the remineralization of white spot lesions, particularly following orthodontic treatment. The fTCP technology allows calcium and phosphate ions to coexist with fluoride in the toothpaste without reacting prematurely. Upon application and contact with saliva, the protective barrier on the fTCP breaks down, releasing calcium and phosphate to work synergistically with fluoride to promote the formation of high-quality mineral (fluorapatite) within the tooth structure, thereby strengthening the enamel and increasing its resistance to acid-driven demineralization.
