Overview
Clinpro Tooth Creme is an over-the-counter topical toothpaste formulated with 0.21% sodium fluoride (950 ppm fluoride ion) and a proprietary functionalized tri-calcium phosphate (fTCP) technology. Originally developed by 3M and now part of the Solventum portfolio, it is indicated for the prevention and control of dental caries and the treatment of post-orthodontic white spot lesions. The fTCP component is designed to coexist with fluoride ions without premature reaction, allowing for the targeted release of calcium and phosphate at the tooth surface during brushing. This synergistic action promotes the remineralization of enamel, increases mineral density, and helps reverse early carious lesions. Cairo University has notably sponsored clinical research comparing its efficacy against other remineralizing agents like GC Tooth Mousse.
