Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CLL-001 (ChondroStem) is an autologous stem cell therapy being developed by CELL Technologies for the treatment of knee osteoarthritis. The therapy utilizes bone marrow aspirate concentrate (BMAC) containing the patient's own bone marrow-derived stem cells, which are processed and delivered at the point of care via intra-articular injection. By avoiding freezing and thawing, CLL-001 maintains high cell viability and functionality, delivering fresh stem cells to promote tissue regeneration, reduce inflammation, and improve joint function. CLL-001 is currently in Phase 3 clinical development.
