Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CLL-002 is an autologous stem cell therapy developed by CELL Technologies for the treatment of degenerative disc disease. As part of the ChondroStem program, CLL-002 utilizes the patient's own bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). The manufacturing process is optimized using the proprietary Oracle AI platform to select and enrich for CD146+ MSCs (enforcing a ≥95% release specification), which exhibit enhanced regenerative and immunosuppressive properties. Administered via intradiscal injection at the point of care, CLL-002 aims to promote tissue regeneration, reduce inflammation, and restore structural quality in the degenerated intervertebral disc. The therapeutic candidate is currently in Phase 2 clinical development.
