CLL1 and CD38 dual-target CAR-T cell injection is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy designed to target both C-type lectin domain family 12 member A (CLL-1) and lymphocyte differentiation antigen CD38 on malignant cells. This therapy uses engineered T-cells equipped with receptors that recognize both antigens, aiming to overcome tumor heterogeneity and reduce the risk of antigen escape in acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The product utilizes camelid nanobody-derived binders for each target, with a moderate affinity for the CD38 binder to minimize fratricide among T-cells. Developed using the FasTCAR platform by Gracell Biotechnologies, this approach is being evaluated primarily in relapsed or refractory AML patients[1][2][8].
