It combines personalized oral liquid amlodipine dosing with proprietary smartphone software as a medical device that enables patients to record home blood-pressure measurements and treatment effects for secure clinician review and individualized dose optimization. Amlodipine is a dihydropyridine calcium-channel blocker that inhibits L-type voltage-gated calcium channels in vascular smooth muscle, reducing peripheral vascular resistance and blood pressure.
