Overview

CLM124 (also known as CLM-124) is a novel, specific retinoic acid receptor gamma (RARγ) agonist being developed as an anti-resorptive therapy for osteoporosis. Developed by researchers at the Mayo Clinic, CLM124 acts by suppressing osteoclast differentiation and bone resorption while maintaining osteoclast-osteoblast coupling and preserving physiological bone remodeling. In preclinical models, CLM124 has demonstrated efficacy in mitigating bone loss induced by whole limb radiation and ovariectomy.
