Overview

Clonal fetal mesenchymal stem cells (cfMSCs) are an allogeneic cell therapy product consisting of mesenchymal stem cells derived from fetal tissue and expanded from a single-cell clone to ensure population homogeneity and consistent therapeutic potency. Developed by the Shenzhen Geno-Immune Medical Institute, these cells are designed to address severe symptoms of immune-related disorders, tissue damage, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), and type II diabetes mellitus. The therapeutic mechanism of cfMSCs involves the secretion of anti-inflammatory cytokines and growth factors that modulate the host immune response and promote endogenous tissue repair and regeneration. By utilizing a clonal derivation process, the developer aims to overcome the variability and characterization challenges often associated with traditional, heterogeneous MSC preparations.
