Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination of clonidine, an alpha-2 adrenergic receptor agonist, and methylphenidate, a central nervous system stimulant. This combination is used primarily for the treatment of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), particularly when either medication alone doesn't provide complete symptom relief. Clonidine helps control attention and hyperactivity by increasing norepinephrine in the brain, while methylphenidate works by increasing dopamine levels.
