Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Clorhidrat de Tramadol Bioeel is an oral generic formulation of tramadol hydrochloride developed and manufactured by the Romanian pharmaceutical company Bioeel. Tramadol is a centrally acting synthetic opioid analgesic used to manage moderate to moderately severe acute and chronic pain. It exerts its therapeutic effects through a dual mechanism of action: weak agonism of the mu-type opioid receptor (MOR) and inhibition of the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine within the central nervous system. This dual action enhances descending pain-inhibitory pathways. Clorhidrat de Tramadol Bioeel is approved and marketed in Romania as 50 mg tablets.
