Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Closone** is a Korean fixed-dose oral dual-antiplatelet product developed and manufactured by **HK inno.N**. It contains **clopidogrel 75 mg** and **aspirin 100 mg** and is used for patients who require concomitant antiplatelet therapy, including patients with coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome, atherosclerotic disease, or thromboembolic risk. Clopidogrel irreversibly inhibits platelet P2Y12 ADP receptors after metabolic activation, while aspirin irreversibly inhibits platelet cyclooxygenase-1, suppressing thromboxane A2 formation. Together, these complementary mechanisms reduce platelet activation and aggregation.
