Overview

Evetox is a purified Clostridium botulinum toxin type A formulation developed by Bspharm Korea. It is designed for aesthetic and therapeutic applications, primarily for the temporary improvement of moderate to severe glabellar wrinkles (frown lines), facial contouring (such as masseter reduction/jawline slimming), and the treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). The product works by temporarily blocking the release of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction, thereby reducing muscle activity and smoothing dynamic wrinkles. It is formulated as a vacuum-dried or lyophilized powder containing human serum albumin and sodium chloride as excipients, requiring reconstitution with sterile saline before intramuscular injection.
