Clotrimazole + lactulose

Clotrimazole + lactulose is a combination drug under investigation for the treatment of candidal vaginitis and vulvovaginitis. Clotrimazole is an azole antifungal that inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol, a key component of fungal cell membranes, leading to increased membrane permeability and cell death.
