Overview

**CLP-417** is an investigational oral fixed-dose small-molecule combination developed by Charleston Pharma for moderate-to-severe acute pain and prevention or reduction of opioid-induced nausea and vomiting. It combines modified-release tramadol, an opioid analgesic and monoamine reuptake inhibitor, with rapid-release promethazine, an H1 antihistamine with antiemetic dopamine-receptor antagonist activity. The product is designed to provide analgesia while mitigating nausea and vomiting associated with opioid therapy.
