Overview

CLR 1602-PTX is a preclinical-stage phospholipid drug conjugate (PDC) developed by Cellectar Biosciences that combines paclitaxel, a chemotherapeutic agent, with the company's proprietary tumor-targeting PDC delivery platform to enhance selectivity for cancer cells. The PDC platform leverages lipid rafts on malignant cells for selective uptake, aiming to improve efficacy and reduce off-target toxicity compared to paclitaxel alone. In vivo studies demonstrated approximately 30 times greater tumor selectivity than free paclitaxel, positioning it for potential use in solid tumors.[2][3]
