Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CLS-S3 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of cyclin-dependent kinase 7 (CDK7) being developed by Cellus for the treatment of Myc-driven tumors, including triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC). By inhibiting CDK7, CLS-S3 suppresses the expression of the MYC proto-oncogene at the transcriptional level, effectively regulating MYC expression and promoting apoptosis in cancer cells. In preclinical animal models of TNBC, CLS-S3 has demonstrated significant antitumor efficacy.
