CLS003

**CLS003** is an investigational fixed-dose topical gel formulation of **digoxin + furosemide** developed as ionic contra-viral therapy for human papillomavirus-associated skin disease. Furosemide inhibits sodium-potassium-chloride cotransporter 1 and digoxin reversibly inhibits sodium-potassium-transporting ATPase, jointly reducing cellular potassium influx that DNA viruses including human papillomavirus require for replication. CLS003 was evaluated in Phase 1/2 and Phase 2 studies in cutaneous warts, as well as Phase 2 studies in actinic keratosis and HPV-induced genital lesions; the genital-lesion study was terminated.
