CLU-RX-OLE is a cluster-immunotherapy allergoid developed by ROXALL Medizin GmbH for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis triggered by *Olea europaea* (olive tree) pollen. It consists of chemically modified pollen extracts (allergoids) adsorbed onto aluminum hydroxide. The chemical modification, typically achieved using glutaraldehyde, reduces the allergen's IgE-binding capacity, thereby lowering the risk of systemic allergic reactions while preserving the T-cell epitopes necessary for inducing immunological tolerance. The "cluster" designation refers to an accelerated updosing schedule where multiple injections are administered at short intervals, allowing patients to reach the maintenance dose more quickly than traditional subcutaneous immunotherapy (SCIT) protocols. The product aims to shift the immune response from a Th2-mediated allergic profile to a Th1/Treg-mediated tolerant profile.
