Clustoid Max Forte

Clustoid Max Forte is a high-concentration allergen immunotherapy (AIT) product developed by Inmunotek S.L. for the treatment of respiratory allergies, including allergic rhinitis, rhinoconjunctivitis, and asthma. It consists of polymerized allergoids—allergen extracts from house dust mites (Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus, Dermatophagoides farinae, and Blomia tropicalis) that have been chemically modified with glutaraldehyde. This modification reduces the allergen's IgE-binding capacity, thereby decreasing the risk of systemic reactions, while preserving its immunogenicity to induce T-cell tolerance and IgG4 production. The 'Max Forte' designation refers to formulations with maximal allergen concentrations (up to 30,000 TU/mL) designed to avoid dilution effects in polysensitized patients. It is administered via subcutaneous injection using a 'cluster' or rapid build-up protocol to achieve maintenance doses more quickly than traditional schedules.
