Overview
CLUSTOID Wiesenlieschgras is a subcutaneous cluster immunotherapy (SCIT) biological product consisting of a glutaraldehyde-polymerized (allergoid) allergen extract. It contains a standardized mixture of six grass pollens (*Holcus lanatus*, *Dactylis glomerata*, *Lolium perenne*, *Phleum pratense*, *Poa pratensis*, *Festuca elatior*) and rye (*Secale cereale*), adsorbed onto aluminum hydroxide. Developed by INMUNOTEK and marketed in Germany by ROXALL Medizin, it is indicated for the treatment of IgE-mediated allergic rhinitis and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis (with or without mild-to-moderate seasonal allergic asthma) in patients sensitized to grass and/or rye pollen. The cluster protocol allows for a faster updosing phase compared to conventional immunotherapy, typically reaching the maintenance dose in a shorter timeframe.
