Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CLX-100 is a preclinical-stage tissue therapy developed by ClexBio for the treatment of acute and end-stage liver failure. Utilizing the proprietary VivoSet™ technology platform, CLX-100 consists of fully vascularized hepatic tissue engineered with microvascular networks to facilitate rapid engraftment and anastomosis with the host's vasculature. The therapy is entirely cell-synthesized, avoiding artificial materials, and combines three different cell types to create functional tissue structures that mimic human biology. It is designed to restore liver function, serving as either a bridge to transplant or a means to enable liver recovery.
