Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CLX-110 is a bioengineered tissue therapeutic being developed by ClexBio for the treatment of late-stage liver disease. Utilizing the proprietary VivoSet technology platform, CLX-110 consists of fully vascularized hepatic tissue featuring cell-synthesized microvascular networks without the use of artificial materials. The therapy is designed to provide functional support or replacement of liver activity, serving as a bridge to transplant or recovery for patients with severe liver dysfunction. It incorporates hepatocytes and supporting cell types in a multicellular architecture to mimic native liver function and address the shortage of donor organs.
