Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CLX-300 is an experimental tissue-engineered therapy under development by ClexBio for the regeneration of heart tissue following a myocardial infarction (heart attack). The therapy consists of fully vascularized cardiac tissue produced using ClexBio's proprietary microfluidic-based 'Clex' technology, which enables the creation of complex tissue architectures with integrated microvasculature. By providing a pre-vascularized functional tissue graft, CLX-300 is intended to be implanted into the damaged area of the heart to integrate with the host's circulatory system, promote tissue repair, and restore cardiac function. It is currently in the discovery stage of development.
